Some important lessons: 

·      Active involvement of  Bihari camp leaders and community members is essential to create demand for the services offered.

·      Taking screening activities into the communities increases access for female patients in particular as they are not able to leave the home environment as easily as men, hence find making hospital visits more difficult.

·      Due to the limit on the number of DCR surgeries the project could support, there were many patients diagnosed with the condition who did not take up services due to cost implications.
