Training Centers
OBAT runs two computer training centers to impart computer usage skills to students in order to prepare them for entering the work force. One of these is located at Mohammedpur, Dhaka. It runs for two hours, three days a week. Sixteen students in the 16-20 years age group study basic computer operating skills as well as usage of MS Office etcetera. Rangpur Computer training Center students are 36 in number and are taught by one teacher. There are a total of 6 batches; every batch attends three days a week for 1.15 hours every day. Rangpur computer center is equipped with the latest computer systems and students are taught by qualified teachers who are well-versed with computer technology. The youth living close to Rangpur are benefitting the most from the computer center as there are no such institutions with modern computers and trained staff located nearby. Our mission for this center is to produce a potential work force of individuals who are highly trained in Information Technology and who will be readily accepted in the job market in Bangladesh.
