Tutoring Centers

OBAT has three tutoring centers:
 

Dhaka tutoring center was started in February, 2009. It prepares students from grade IX and X for their final examinations. In Bangladesh, students have to take their high school examinations at the end of grade X. This center has a total of sixty students; classes are held in the evening. A total of seven subjects are taught by five teachers.
 

The second OBAT tutoring center is located at PatGudam camp, Mymensingh and has a total of thirty students.
 

The third tutoring Center is in Rangpur and is run in collaboration with Humanity in Distress (HID), a local non-profit, since 2005. Students who attend the tutoring program are from grades VI to XII. Total teachers are seven in number and the number of students is 150. Every class is held three days a week except for JSC and SSC students who have daily classes. JSC Exam is held for students in grade 8 whereas SSC is a high school program.
