Southeastern Bangladesh is currently facing a severe flood crisis due to continuous heavy rainfall and rising river levels. Areas like Feni, Comilla, and Noakhali are severely affected, with over 1.5 million people stranded as roads and highways are submerged. Rivers such as Gumti, Muhuri, and Khowai have reached dangerous levels, impacting additional regions like Khagrachari and Sylhet. The situation is worsening with ongoing rainfall, causing power outages, food and water shortages, and significant damage to homes and farmlands.

OBAT Helpers is actively preparing to provide critical relief in these areas through its staff and youth wing, OBAT Think Tank, by distributing dry foods and offering medical assistance. As the floodwaters recede, our volunteers will focus on rehabilitating affected families.
