Samir lives in block D of the Geneva Camp with his mother Shahida and his father Mohammad Shamim. His father supports his family of four with the monthly wage of $89 he earns as a barber. Samir’s mother is a very kind hearted individual who inspires Samir to do good. Another person he reveres is his instructor for Urdu, English and Arabic, Mr. Sakir, who works hard for their community. Samir wants to mitigate poverty after finding employment, and hopes to help all poor children to have free access education. Like many of his friends, Samir loves to play cricket. He also likes sports such as football [which Americans call “soccer”]. Samir has a way of telling jokes that makes people around him laugh. He would like to find a job in a good company after completing an MBA degree.
