Eleven days after a fire raged through Rangpur camp, destroying the pitiful homes of several hundred camp dwellers, things seemed to have taken a turn for the worse.
The victims had been temporarily housed in a government school. However, due to an impending election, the local government asked them to vacate the school, forcing them to create and move into makeshift houses made out of tarp. These houses, as you can imagine, do not offer much relief from the elements and the cold weather.
Please reach out and help reconstruct their homes so that they can once again resume their lives. Their homes were tiny huts made out of tin, to begin with. Now, they have been deprived of even that very basic level of housing.
