Dr. Zia Moiz
Dr. Zia Moiz Ahmad is a graduate of Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan (class of 1982). He completed his Internal Medicine residency from University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. Later, he completed a cardiology fellowship at Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC. Currently, he is practicing Interventional Cardiology in St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Ahmad was the President of DOGANA (Dow Graduates Association of North America) and Founder President of APPNA St. Louis. He is actively involved in the community service and philanthropic activities in Saint Louis. He is Founder & Medical Director of Salam Clinics which operates two free medical and psychiatry clinics. Dr. Ahmad serves as the President of Muslim Community Services, St. Louis (MCSTL) which is involved in multiple community service projects. He is also President of Biking4Books which raises funds by organizing rides for donating books for St. Louis city schools. Dr. Ahmad has firsthand seen OBAT’s medical work by participating in medical mission trips and has contributed greatly toward building OBAT’s presence in the St. Louis community.
