Since February 2018, OBAT has been diligently providing quality health services to the FDMN (Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals) community at Rohingya Camp 04 in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar. These services are delivered through its implementing partner OBAT Helpers Bangladesh and cover all aspects of a healthy life.

Health Post
Accomplishments to Date:
Our Health Post primarily functions as an OPD clinic with six designated rooms, excluding Emergency, Dental Unit, Flu Corner, and Maternity services.
In our Emergency Room, we have provided care to 7,942 patients so far. We are equipped with essential medical devices, including an Oxygen Concentrator, Portable
Ventilator, Aspirator, Non-Invasive Ventilator, and Patient Monitor.
We have conducted 18,500 Maternal and Newborn care services, including Antenatal Care (ANC), Postnatal Care (PNC), Family Planning, and Baby Kit Distribution.
Our Dental Unit has served 20,599 patients with comprehensive dental care. Equipped with advanced facilities, we offer emergency management, extractions, restorations, pulp extractions, abscess management, and minor surgeries.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, our Flu Corner has provided care to 21,334 patients. We are committed to managing and addressing flu-related concerns, ensuring the well-being of our community during these challenging times.
We have conducted a total of 27,932 lab tests, which include various essential screenings such as blood glucose, HBsAg, hemoglobin, syphilis, dengue, pregnancy tests, HCV, and others. Additionally, we provide ECG and USG facilities to further support our patients’ healthcare needs.
13,150+ referrals facilitated with two standby ambulances, one nurse, and two trained assistants.
170 types of drugs and 130 medical supplies, including full-course medicines, antibiotics, and NCD drugs available at the Health Post.
Trained medical professionals provide counseling and essential support for mental health and GBV cases, ensuring comprehensive care and appropriate referrals as needed.
As a dedicated member of the MMT working group formed by the Health Sector, we are fully equipped to provide surge support during emergencies. In response to a fire incident in March 2021, we efficiently treated 2,500 patients as an MMT surge partner.
