Joumana Atwani

Joumana Atwani is a senior executive from the global development sector with more than 20 years of experience with International Organizations including the United Nations and the Global Fund for AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Geneva. She has extensive experience in designing and managing high-impact development and humanitarian programs in the Middle East and Africa and a consistent track record in mobilizing resources and building partnerships, with governments, donors, funding institutions, and High Net Worth Individuals, for a broad range of initiatives.  She is currently working with Evercare Group as a Director of Partnership and External Affairs and leading on the newly established Evercare Foundation.

She has supported the fight against infectious diseases in her work for the Global Fund and advanced the United Nations’ work to improve the living conditions of refugees. As a former refugee, Joumana leverages unique personal experience in her work and is deeply committed to improving the lives of vulnerable populations around the world.
