Saima Hassan
Saima worked as a development and communication professional at OBAT Helpers for almost fourteen years. Her passion for humanitarian work fueled her efforts to drive OBAT towards the accomplishment of its mission of empowering displaced communities in Bangladesh. Saima is now using her skills and rich experience from the nonprofit sector to advance the mission of the Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University with a particular focus on the Muslim nonprofit and philanthropic sector.
Saima completed her MBA with a major in marketing from the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi, Pakistan. After moving to the US, she received her Masters in Professional Accountancy degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and later, a CFRM certification from the Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
Saima resides in Carmel, Indiana and spends her free time reading, volunteering and taking tennis lessons.
