Graduates from OBAT’s sewing centers go on to find employment in the garment industry or to start personal businesses from home. However, not all women own a sewing machine, which prevents them from being able to start their own business.
Due to recent generous donations, 17 graduates from the Syedpur, Rangpur and Chittagong Sewing Centers were gifted with sewing machines of their own. This will allow the women to support themselves as well as allowing these women’s families to benefit from a greater income- and thus have greater well-being!
