From struggles at home to dreams of becoming a newscaster…Meet Bornaly Jaman. Bornanly lives in Rangpur with her mother and three sisters. After her father passed away, her eldest sister was forced to begin supporting the family financially. Today, Bornaly is in her 3rd year of college at Govt. Begum Rokeya College in Rangpur.
Bornaly has completed a Microsoft Office Application Course from OBAT’s IT Center in Rangpur, which provides training free of cost for the camp communities. She also shared some very exciting news recently- She has joined the Dainik Dabanal newspaper as a journalist. Ultimately, she wants to become a news anchor on television.
The 29th batch of students graduated from the Rangpur IT Center in June. Bornaly was invited and honored with flowers by the staff.
We are so proud of Bornaly and so happy that she is on her way to achieving her dream.
