SUVA (Saidpur United Volunteer Association) is an organization consisting of 23 groups engaged in volunteer work throughout the city – OBAT’s Think Tank group is one of them. SUVA recently held a training on Microsoft Office and Graphic Design for its volunteer groups. The course was two months long and three of OBAT’s volunteers, Kawser, Faruk and Rabby were assigned as instructors for the course. SUVA paid the volunteers a salary for the training. Instead of keeping the salary for personal use, the Think Tank members decided to pool their salaries, buy a computer and gift it to OBAT’s Syedpur Computer Center where many students will benefit from it. What an inspiring story of giving back!
