An Environment Fair was organized by OBAT’s Ferozeshah School students on June 5th. The day has been designated by the United Nations to create awareness of our actions on our environment. Students presented different projects on noise, water and air pollution, use of dustbins, petroleum and natural gas creation using polythene and plastic. Some students also shared the concepts of an environmentally conscious modern city and a roof top garden. Such fairs increase the understanding and engagement of the students and encourage them towards positive behaviors and actions. In the Rohingya camps, an awareness campaign was initiated to discourage the use of plastic bags. Some trees for planting were also given to the refugees to promote a green environment.
