A five-day long teachers’ training was held at OBAT’s High School in Syedpur during March. Teachers from OBAT’s Syedpur, Rangpur and Bogura project participated in the training, including Anwar Hossain, Academic Supervisor of Syedpur district. The training focused on curriculum and teaching methods used in the following subjects: Bangla, Math, English, Science, Bangladeshi Studies & ICT (computer technology). The district’s Secondary Education Officer, Rehana Yasmin was also present during the last session.
Another training was held for the Math teachers of the education projects in Chittagong. This workshop delivered guidance to the teachers when it comes to dealing with the setbacks faced by the students as a result of the pandemic. This workshop was primarily conducted by Ms. Shamim Nighat, a senior member of the Chittagong education team.
Trainings like these are an integral part of OBAT’s academic program, as they keep the teachers ahead of the curb when it comes to the latest developments and methodology.
