For many of OBAT’s students, the wait was finally over!
On Sep 12th, the Bangladeshi government allowed in-person classes to resume in educational institutes.
During COVID-19 lockdowns, students were educated through smartphones or digital learning, and by teachers’ visits to students’ homes. However, students longed to see their classmates and for normal school life to resume.
Students were overjoyed to return to school and were especially happy to meet their friends there. Classes began with prayers for those who lost their lives to the pandemic, and were filled with exciting opportunities to learn the “old fashioned way”- in person, surrounded by supportive teachers and caring peers.
It’s Back-to-School Finally!
