Like any other camp in Bangladesh, Ferozshah Boys School Camp in Chittagong lacks basic sanitation facilities. During October, OBAT constructed four restrooms in the Boy’s School Camp that will serve approximately 150 adults and children.
These amenities contribute to the overall quality of life in the area as well as protecting the health and safety of residents who would otherwise be at greater risk of preventable diseases due to water contamination. The simple facility includes overhead shelter and a water tank for safe and appropriate storage of waste.
Camp residents were very happy and grateful to gain access to this vital, basic life amenity. We’ll keep you updated on future improvements.
