A new Sewing Center was recently started in Chittagong. What’s amazing about this new addition is that it happened due to the efforts and dedication of OBAT’s Think Tank members. The project has begun with the enrollment of 12 students. Sumi, a Think Tank member and a beneficiary of the sewing training program, will be the instructor at the new center. The center will give priority to Think Tank volunteers and the students will be paying a minimal monthly fee which will be used to cover the operating cost of the center. This Sewing Center will help empower students through skills they can use to bring in income.
