Race for Compassion,
Race4Rehma!
You’re invited to the 2nd Annual Race4Rehma! The 5K walk will be held at the Indianapolis Canal on September 29, 2012 from 3-6 PM. Walk or run along the scenic canal and enjoy live music, games and raffle drawings before and after the race.
In 2011, the first ever Race4Rehma was attended by an enthusiastic crowd who was eager to make a difference. This year, we plan to reach even higher goals! Your efforts in joining the Race4Rehma will help raise money to continue the 2012 Rehma mission to educate and feed Indianapolis Hoosiers.
The direct beneficiaries of the Race4Rehma are:
· Second Helpings rescues perishable food and converts it into meals that are distributed to several social services organizations in Indianapolis. OBAT Helpers’ goal is to provide more than 2,000 meals through Second Helpings this year.
· Sense Charter School is dedicated to educating children, majority of who are eligible for free meals. OBAT Helpers’ aims to increase its support to SENSE in the year 2012.
To help even more Hoosiers this year, we need your help! Invite your family, activate your friends, and tell your circle of influence where you’ll be on September 29th!
