PROJECTS IN ROHINGYA CAMPS

10  learning centers for Rohingya children  (1,000 + students). Digital learning program for children (90 students)

Rohingya language classes for kids & adults (only agency offering this; 380 + students attend daily)

Empowerment center for women & 2 community centers

Playground for kids

3,000 meals and 1,100 rations distributed

Community Outreach Classes will being in late-March to skill-up and train Host Community youth

Distribution of 4,600 shelter reinforcement kits benefiting 23,000 people

NEW PROJECTS INITIATED IN 2019

Shaheen School was established in Mirpur, Dhaka with an enrollment of  650 students

Grade 6 was added to Ferozeshah School with an enrollment of thirty-five students

Khan Academy courses were introduced to 457 students in OBAT’s educational projects

Two new Preschools were initiated in Chittagong

Bogra camp repairs improved living conditions of 60 residents

5 bathrooms made sanitation facilities available to 1,720 people

2 Computer Centers were set up with 40 students

An Adult Literacy Program- 30 students

Python and Scratch programming was introduced to 48 students

Scouts Programs were introduced to two more schools with 96 new scouts

Vocational skills training benefitted 15 students

3 tube wells provided clean water to 900 people

Cataract surgeries restored sight to 127 people
