The recent fire at the Rangpur camp has rendered thousands of people homeless. More than 50 people have been hospitalized; they need immediate assistance with shelter, blankets and other essential items in order to survive. The government of Bangladesh has extended a lot of help. Yesterday, a fire broke out at the Rangpur camp where stranded Pakistanis reside in miserable conditions. The fire englufed about 300 huts and there were about five casualties as well. OBAT serves this area through its school, tutoring center and health clinic. Relief efforts are already underway by OBAT staff as blankets and other relief supplies are being provided to the people impacted by the sad incident.
