This year’s Race4Rehma will be the first annual walk-a-thon hosted by SalaamCorp youth group to benefit Obat Helpers’ Rehma Initiative.

Walk with us to increase opportunities for self-empowerment through education, healthcare and micro-financing opportunities, both globally and locally!

Obat Helpers’ global movement assists the desolate, forgotten people of Bangladesh living in camps become self-reliant. This involves establishing schools that provide quality education and meals, as well as micro-financing opportunities that allow individuals to start businesses and provide for their families.

The Rehma Initiative, a more recent project aimed towards the local movement, aims to provide quality education and meals for Indianapolis communities, beginning with the SENSE Charter School on the southeast side and the SecondHelpings food pantry. Funds raised for the local initiative will combat hunger and education by providing yearly grants to these two organizations.
