Md. Noman Ullah Bahar
Youth Advisor (BD)
Md. Noman Ullah Bahar is the President of SDG Youth Forum, a non-political social organization. Also, he works as an independent trainer and researcher focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2030.
As a successful youth entrepreneur and organizer, he is well-known for his social activities. He was an organizing secretary of Bangladesh Human Rights Commission (BHRC) Greater Chittagong Region and Petron of Young Economist Society (YES) University of Chittagong. Moreover, Noman is also involved in Seher Autism Center along with different social institutions.
As a researcher, he has contributed to different organizations as the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) under BRAC University in Dhaka and Chittagong Research Initiative (CRI).
Md. Noman was also part of the workshop “Youth Engagement, Skills Development and Employment Facilitation in South Asia: Capacity-Building for Principal of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutes” organized by the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) and supported by International Labour Organization (ILO).
He has received several awards and nominations in and out of Bangladesh thanks to his societal works like the Social Business Organization (Krishaker Bazar) in 2016 and a nomination from the World Bank Group (WBG) in the Youth Summit in 2018.
As a columnist, more than 100 articles and features of his authorship have been published in various newspapers and publications.
