Collaboration with Teach the World Foundation

OBAT is honored to be working on a collaborative program with, Teach the World Foundation or TTWF. Teach the World Foundation is dedicated to conquering illiteracy worldwide. It has proposed various solutions and one of them is introducing “Tablet Technology” to preschool and grade one children. The TTWF team visited the Geneva camp in late 2016 and had discussions with the camp kids regarding the challenges they faced in their lives and the role of education in empowering their future. We are grateful to Mr. Shafiq Khan (President & Co-Founder) and Dr. Robert Torres (Chief Strategy Officer) from TTWF, for visiting the camps and for this collaboration.

Eighty students have been selected from OBAT’s preschool and working children programs for the alpha phase of this project which will test the power of digital learning

This project will present a great opportunity for OBAT’s preschool and primary school children to be a part of this outstanding approach. We hope that through this joint venture, we will be able to make a bigger impact on our next generation of students. Photos from the project can be seen here.
