Seniors in camp communities are the most vulnerable to disease and poverty. Many do not have children or other family to look after them. International Day of the Elderly is observed each year through different initiatives. This year, Syedpur’s Think Tank organized a food distribution consisting of basic staples like rice and lentils. These were distributed to 50 elderly individuals, and as an additional courtesy, the recipients were accompanied home so they did not have to carry the heavy bags. Thank you to the Think Tank for their compassion and love for the elderly.
