Six students from OBAT’s IT Center in Mohammadpur participated in a computer coding residential camping program. The camp was organized by BdGCC (Bangladesh Girls Coding Contest). 1,200 students participated in the first round of the competition. 400 students made it to the second round and 30 from among them were selected for the coding residential camping program. The camp was held for three days in Lalmatia in Dhaka during which the students learnt the coding language, “C”. After the camp was over, Mustafa Zabbar (Post & Telecommunication Minister of Government of Bangladesh) visited OBAT’s IT Center to encourage the participants and present them with the completion certificates.
We are very thankful to Mr. Munir Hasan, Head of Youth Program, The Daily Prothom Alo and General Secretary of BdGCC and to OBAT’s Director of Policy and Partnership Engagement, Mr. Masum Mahbub, who together built a partnership which provided this amazing opportunity to our students.
