Skin Treatment Camp Offers Healthcare to 117 people

Leprosy is a condition caused by an infection that mainly affects the skin, eyes, nose and nerves. Cases of leprosy have been identified in the camps. As a preventative measure, a skin treatment camp was held by OBAT in Khulna in collaboration with CSS (Christian Service Society). Doctors from CSS examined 117 patients who had been seeking treatment for skin related problems. One new case of leprosy was identified through the camp; others received medication for the issues identified by CSS’s medical team.

Thank you to CSS and to our Think Tank volunteers for providing a much-needed service through this camp.
