This Eid al-Adha, a special day for Muslims around the world, was more difficult than usual for the communities served by OBAT. Many people lost their sources of income due to ongoing lockdowns, and food became more scarce. People struggled and meals were few and far between. The COVID-19 pandemic meant that Eid would not be as happy as usual this year… That’s where your support came in! Your Qurbani/Udhiya donations were able to feed 76,745 people. Your support enabled OBAT to sacrifice and distribute the meat from 147 cows and 89 goats in 9 cities (Dhaka, Khulna, Rangpur, Chandpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong, Syedpur, Cox’s Bazar and Bogra).
