Winters can be harsh when you cannot afford warm clothing or a heated home. Most of the camp residents live in huts made of tin and bamboo, which does not offer any protection against the elements.
In December, OBAT’s Think Tank started a blanket distribution project which is still going strong through February! To supplement that effort, the Think Tank also distributed winter clothing amongst the poverty stricken population living in the Rangpur Railway Station area.
Thanks to their initiative, almost 100 people received clothes which will keep them warm during the winter.
