We’re excited for the latest news from OBAT’s Chittagong Women Empowerment Center which has gone a step further to make empowerment a reality for its students. The Center has opened a tailoring shop and started accepting orders for stitched clothing. The maiden order received was from a government orphanage. Outfits were made for 10 children and another 15 Punjabi Kurtas (loose tunics), were made for young boys. The youth Think Tank also placed an order for 50 Kurtas which they distributed among camp children.
