130 Cataract surgery restore sight of camp residents

With no access to health care, many camp residents do not get the eye care they need and remain untreated for their vision related illnesses. Cataract surgeries are carried out in partnership with local hospitals. During November and December, a spate of new surgeries was carried out thanks to the support of OBAT Canada. 130 surgeries took place in the cities of Chittagong and Jessore. Thank you to Royal Community Eye Hospital and Abdul Wadud Hospital who were our partners for these surgeries.
