We are beyond proud of our students for receiving admission to Asian University for Women (https://asian-university.org/). AUW is a renowned, private university for women in Bangladesh. Their student body belongs to more than 19 different countries and undergoes a rigorous and competitive admission process to receive an education here.
OBAT signed an MOU with the university in 2022 to provide financial support for OBAT students who passed AUW’s admission test. Three OBAT students got admitted to AUW in early 2022. We are so happy to share that another four students have passed the entrance exam and are starting their classes in January.
Congratulations to Sumaya Akter, Nur Shaba Saba, Fatema Zia and Rosni Akter! We also want to thank Mr. Suman Chatterjee, Director of Student Recruitment and Acting Dean of Students of the Asian University of Women (AUW) for visiting our projects in Dhaka. Mr. Chatterjee met with our team and visited our schools and camps. He also met with one of the recently admitted students, Roshni.
