Animal Husbandry Initiative to generate income for refugees and host community

Ducks, pigeons and chickens! Thirty members of the host community in Cox’s Bazar as well as Rohingya refugee women received 200 animals from OBAT: 50 chickens and ducks each as well as 100 pigeons. This initiative will increase the income of the women and make them financially self-sufficient as they will be selling the eggs laid by the animals. The women and especially their children seemed excited to welcome new fowl members into their families!
