Munia IMozumder (Deputy Coordinator) and Masuma Yeasmin (Information Management Officer) from the Education Sector in Cox’s Bazar visited OBAT’s Adolescent Center & Learning Centers for Rohingya refugees.
We are proud to share that seven staff members from Bangladesh received a two-week training in Fund Raising Management. The training took place in Turkey and was organized by the Ibn Haldun University, Türk Kızılay, and Intuitive Institute.
Ten year old Murtaza lives in San Jose, California and studies in grade four. In a world where phones and gadgets preoccupy the minds of kids, his tender thoughts are with impoverished children who live almost 10,000 miles away from him in Bangladesh.
Many of OBAT’s schools are sponsored by the generosity of individuals or groups of donors. One such generous group resides in St.Louis and together sponsors the SB Nagar Primary School in Chittagong.
Six students from OBAT’s IT Center in Mohammadpur participated in a computer coding residential camping program.

In the past year, you provided the Right to Clean Water & Sanitation to over 17,900 people! Through our Infrastructure Development Program, we installed 15 handpumps, 3 motorized deep tube wells, 6 semi deep tubewells and also constructed a couple of bathrooms.
March will be teeming with OBAT activities with virtual events and in person programs taking place across various cities in the US- thanks to our local chapters in Seattle, Dallas and St.Louis.
