As the pandemic continues to affect lives, the safety of our students is of utmost importance to us. In the Rohingya project, the education project staff received special training on workplace first aid and Covid-19 resilience.
During November, a new learning center was added in the Rohingya projects for adolescent students. These students are in the 14-24 age group.

The Center for Zakat Management supports and operates several educational projects. One example is the Granada Boarding School for Boys in Dhaka. The school’s medium of instruction is English.
Hundreds of students have been enrolled in OBAT preschools in Chittagong and Dhaka.
World Teachers Day was October 5th. Camp School teachers, 95% of whom are female staff, continue to ensure the success of over 8,000 students in OBAT’s educational projects.
The Government of Bangladesh has so far relocated approximately 18,000 Rohingya refugees from the overcrowded Kutupalong camp in Cox’s Bazar and resettled them in Bhasan Char, an island in the Bay of Bengal.
