World Teachers Day was October 5th. Camp School teachers, 95% of whom are female staff, continue to ensure the success of over 8,000 students in OBAT’s educational projects. To express our appreciation for their contributions, the day was observed in a ceremony in the cities of Chittagong, Khulna, and Syedpur.
The event honored high-performing teachers with the Crest Award, a plaque presented by OBAT to commemorate stellar commitment and service. Teachers were also presented with the highly coveted resource of books for their classes. Our deep gratitude goes to these teachers for their dedication to nurturing future leaders in camp communities.
