Khushbu

Khushbu lost her father two years ago- he was the only breadwinner in the family. After his passing, her mother, Nasima, started working as a maid but with her meager income, it was very tough to make ends meet and the family struggled to get by.
Khushbu had been receiving a scholarship from OBAT since she was in eighth grade. After the death of her father, OBAT started giving her a full scholarship. With the help of this assistance, she completed her schooling from Syedpur Technical School and College. She is a very bright student and attained a 5.0 GPA in her exam results. Khushbu soon started studying for the admission test for medical school. She had always dreamt of becoming a doctor and helping those around her.
At present, she is studying in the first year of medical school at Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College.
In Khushbu’s words:
“As my father died after my SSC exam, it was tough for my family to bear my educational expenses. OBAT lightened my financial burden, which allowed me to focus on what was important for me, my education. This financial generosity has allowed me to be one step closer to my goal. I hope one day I will be able to help others just as you have helped me.”
