Increasing computer literacy is a key component of OBAT’s education program. Through 10 computer training centers, OBAT offers courses on a variety of subjects ranging from the basic MS Office Suite to learning programming languages and graphic design. These courses enable students to become computer savvy and also start earning as freelancers.
Recently, thanks to the generous donations of our wonderful supporters in CA and WA, 60 new computers were added to our IT centers. Three of these were laptops distributed to our young students Asha, Sadia and Umme Hani. In 2018, this talented trio of girls participated in a nationwide programming competition and won at district levels.
