OBAT started a maternity program in Rangpur recently, in partnership with OBAT Canada. The center initially held awareness sessions for mothers-to-be regarding how to take care of themselves as well as training them on pre and post-natal care.
In June, the center celebrated its 4th delivery of a baby boy at the Rangpur Specialized Hospital. Both mom and baby are healthy and feeling great!
We are excited to improve maternal health through this new project and allow for more happy and healthy mothers and children.
