The Rohingya camps welcomed two special visitors recently. Ms. Janntul Ferdous (Knowledge Management Officer) and Ms. Iffat Falguni, (Documentation & Communication Officer) from the education Sector visited OBAT’s education facilities in Camp 4.
The Inter-Sector Coordination Group (ISCG) is the central coordination body for humanitarian agencies serving Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
Ms. Ferdous and Ms. Falguni met with the Learning Center Management Committee (LCMC) and also attended caregiver sessions. These training sessions equip caregivers (parents/guardians) to carry out home-based learning during the pandemic. Ms. Ferdous and Ms. Falguni also observed two students during learning sessions with their caregivers.
Both representatives were impressed with the effectiveness of the activities and shared positive feedback when they gave their thoughts about the visit!
