From camp resident to physiotherapist, this young lady’s story will inspire you. Mst. Sharmin Akter completed her Diploma in Physiotherapy from the Institute of Health and Technology, Rangpur. Then she did a 6-month internship from Rangpur medical college and hospital. Since becoming a physiotherapist, Sharmin decided to give back to her camp community by helping to start a Physiotherapy Corner at the OBAT Health Clinic, which will allow camp residents to get help that they previously could not obtain. She spends her time caring for her community members and helping those in pain and distress. We’re so proud of her, as well as excited about the new Physiotherapy Corner.
