OBAT’s Rangpur Clinic is located by a main road and receives many victims of road accidents. These people have to usually seek primary care from hospitals that are located in far off areas. The clinic staff started an emergency care section with the resources available but plan to expand it in the future.
The Clinic also distributed packages consisting of nutritious food items to mothers of newborn babies. These women are being supported by OBAT’s maternity project. 54 mothers received these packages during this program. Dr. Abul Kashem (OBAT’s Rangpur Clinic Manager & General Physician) gave advice to mothers of newborn babies on how to care for their babies during their infancy
