World Humanitarian Day is observed yearly on August 19th. Every year, a theme is chosen for this special day in accordance with a current and pressing humanitarian crisis to raise awareness about the issue around the world. For OBAT, the day is all the more significant as its President and Founder, and an amazing humanitarian, Anwar Khan, also celebrates his birthday on this day. To celebrate and commemorate this day, OBAT hosted a webinar featuring Anwar Khan as a special guest. The live event was hosted by Sadia Rahman who is a part of OBAT’s Team in the Rohingya Camp. Mr. Khan reflected on the role of humanitarians in making the world a better place and also pondered on his own journey with OBAT.
