Hundreds of students have been enrolled in OBAT preschools in Chittagong and Dhaka. Prioritizing the early education of these precious little ones is vital for community development because OBAT preschool lays the foundation for a child’s strong academic performance in the future. Early education sets children on a positive trajectory for their entire lives.
To ensure that teachers are able to function to their maximum potential, OBAT coordinates annual training to ensure educators are equipped and up to date with current modes of teaching. During October, all preschool teachers from Chittagong received specialized training from Ms. Shamim Nighat, Technical Officer and former Teacher in Concern Worldwide’s Education Program, and a similarly-modeled program was held for Dhaka teachers.
