With no access to health care, many camp residents do not get the eye care they need and remain untreated for their vision related illnesses.
We are very excited to share with you the beginning of OBAT’s collaboration with the number 1 private university in Bangladesh, North South University(northsouth.edu). The two organizations have signed an MOU to begin a close alliance which will be of mutual benefit.
While 2021 continued to be marred by the pandemic, we continued to make strides by adapting and forging ahead. Some of the highlights of new initiatives introduced during 2021 were:

During November, a new learning center was added in the Rohingya projects for adolescent students. These students are in the 14-24 age group.

Dr. Allen Gidraf Kahindo Maina, Head of Health Sector, UNHCR, and Dr. Tamur, Head of Public Health, UNHCR, visited OBAT’s health post for Rohingya refugees in the island of Bhasan Char.
